The newly released Ring Spotlight Cam Pro is an example of a camera with 3D Motion Detection. 3D Motion Detection also offers a Bird’s Eye View of your property via the app. You can see via the app if they went straight to your front door or sneaked in through the side of your lawn, for example. 3D Motion Detection uses radar to follow and track a (welcome or unwelcome) guest’s movement across your property. One exception is the 3D Motion Detection, which is reserved for the most elite Ring cameras. Fortunately, we were able to adjust some of the cameras so that they only sent out notifications when it mattered, but again, more on that soon. And for outdoor cameras, we received a notification each time a car passed by our place.
